SupWiki

A community-driven knowledge base made by an EPITA student, for EPITA students: course notes gathered, organised and improved in one place.

Overview

Course resources at EPITA end up scattered across personal notes, group chats and old PDFs. SupWiki gathers them into one structured, searchable wiki that any student can read and improve. It is not an official source, it's a collaborative academic support project.

What I Did

  • Hosting & operations: deployed and administer the wiki on my own infrastructure at wiki.svdecoder.org
  • Content structure: designed the Year → Semester → Subject organisation (Algorithmic, Architecture, Electronics, Maths, English…)
  • Writing notes: wrote the course notes for Years 1 and 2

How It's Built

  • MediaWiki on PHP 8.3 with a SQLite database, a simple, low-maintenance setup for a small wiki
  • Math extension for LaTeX formulas, Cite for references, VisualEditor so contributors don't need to learn wikitext
  • MultimediaViewer for the 110+ circuit diagrams, schemes and figures

Role of AI

The notes are mine. An AI agent (the Auto-notes account on the wiki) takes my raw notes and diagrams and reformats them into clean, consistent wiki pages. The setup, structure and content are hand-made; AI only handles the formatting.
